Ten years later she transitioned to Hilton Head Island and spearheaded the Sotheby’s International Realty affiliation with Prudential. After obtaining her SC Brokers license, Cynthia established her own firm on Hilton Head Island, where she specialized in estates and luxury homes. In 2007, Cynthia headed to Palm Beach, where she obtained her Florida Brokers license and became affiliated with a large firm on Worth Ave. on Palm Beach Island. Cynthia has also provided her expertise and knowledge to the Hamptons of the South, Kiawah Island.

“You have real estate in your blood,” a client once told me. I acquired my real estate license in 1975, and was fortunate enough to be able to work beside my dad—a realtor and local custom home builder. He was constantly teaching me about quality construction, even taking me to inspect roofs. Along with selling homes, I graduated from Furman University with a degree in English and taught in Greenville schools for 32 years. My husband’s family owned the local newspaper and we raised our two children here as we served our church and community. After my retirement from teaching in 2002, I began working full-time in real estate and, since then, I have been a top producer.
After graduating from Spartanburg Methodist College in 2002, I obtained eleven years of luxury sales experience in addition to numerous years of experience in real estate investing.
