If you’re looking for the perfect place to call home, Travelers Rest might just be the spot for you! With its ideal blend of city life and natural surroundings, this town has become the go-to destination for families who are looking for a little bit of everything. While the town has seen a bit of a boom in recent years, growing 15% in the last decade, it still maintains a small-town feel with only 5,000 residents.
Not only does the town have great restaurants, cafes, and shops (are you seeing a trend here!), but it’s also the gateway to the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail – a 23-mile paved path that’s perfect for biking, walking, and enjoying the natural beauty of Greenville County.
Fountain Inn
Fountain Inn is one of the fastest-growing cities in South Carolina and for good reason! The town boasts a quaint downtown area but is also a short drive directly into the city of Greenville. In addition to great family-friend activities, such as the splash pad and a branch of the Greenville County library, the town also regularly hosts events, festivals, and farmers markets that are quickly making it a go-to place to visit.
